Hi!
My company uses Office 2013 and of course Outlook 2013 is the email client. Well I do IT helpdesk for the first 1/3 of my work day and then mainframe operations for the remaining 2/3's. I get a plethora or emails every day! If it's not from the helpdesk ticket system then it's from automated server monitoring. Put it this way, I took a week of from work in the summer and came back to 2500+ emails. I kinda sorta had rules working but not for everything. So my fuzziness is here; when you create a rule and it says 'stop processing rules' does that mean for just that one email item and then it starts all over from the top of list of rules for the next email? Also for example if you had a rule that moved an email to another folder and you DO NOT stop the rules after its done and then put another rule right after it further processing that email that was moved into the folder. Is that the way it works? I think this is main curiosity with rules is being able to chain a few of them together. I appreciate the help and the input! Thanks! Dave |
