Hello,
I'm experimenting with Outlook. I had an incident the other day where I had four emails in my outbox that weren't sending. Send/receive wasn't working. I noticed my status was disconnected. So I tried restarting Outlook. Before it let me restart however, it told me that the emails in my outbox would be wiped if I shut Outlook down. So before shutting down I created a "temp" folder and transferred the emails to there. I restartd outlook. When I opened the temp folder, my emails were gone. So I did some googling. One site suggested putting the emails into Drafts instead of a new folder. I did a test. I disconnected, composed an email, clicked send, and watched it sit in my outbox. Then I transferred the email to Drafts, restarted Outlook, got reconnected, then move the email back to Outbox. But it's still just sitting there. Send/receive doesn't work, there's no option to "Send now" in the context menu when right-clicking the email. How does one force Outlook to send emails manually placed in the outbox? |
