![]() I have upgraded from Office 2013 to Office 2016. The mail icon in the control panel still reads Mail (MS Outlook 2103) (32 bit). This icon does not work at all, so functionality of this control panel icon is not available. I did a reinstall of Office 2016, but problem remained. Anyone have any recommended fixes? I am adept at registry editing if that is what it takes. |

Does your Office 2016 edition include Outlook? If not, you need Outlook 2013 but it's possible your Office 2016 disabled it. In that case, try reinstalling Outlook 2013.

Hi Paul. I have MS OFFICE 2016 Pro installed which does include Outlook 2016. Outlook 2016 is running fine except for the loss of the control panel mail icon functionality.

To which Outlook icon in the control panel and what functionality are you referring?

Control Panel Icon : Mail (MS Outlook 2013) (32-bit)
When I double click on it, I get an error that file cannot be found. I believe the icon functionality involves Outlook accounts and profiles. |

Try the method described here: http://www.winhelponline.com/xp/cpicon.htm
