My wife has a home desktop and a work desktop, along with an iPhone. Two days ago, she opened a contact on her PC, made an edit and saved it. Now she goes to that same contact and it's not there. (All machines sync through iCloud)
I thought I would be clever and restore her iPhone from a 5 day old iCloud backup but the missing contact doesn't show. I wonder know if when the iPhone backs up to the cloud, contacts are not backed up? I have looked into all her deleted folders in Outlook, with the plan to restore or recover from there. Not only can I not see the missing contact, the "recover deleted files" option in Outlook is greyed out. Running Windows 10 so I wonder if there is anyway to do a search within windows for ANY file that might contain for example, the password she saved in the now lost contact? Grasping at straws here I know... Bob |
