Hi all, could someone tell me if it is possible to do the following (I had this setup perfect when connected to Exchange but doesn't seem to work now)
I have an IMAP account setup (through gmail) and it is set to send FROM my alias address. The actual sending works perfect but I would like.. a) to be able to hold items in the Outbox (so I can inspect the emails if necessary) until I hit Send/Receive b) get a copy in Sent Items somewhere (I don't actually care where this is, be it my own Sent Items or a separate pst file) At the moment the email just sends immediately, doesn't wait in the Outbox and I have no record of it ever going (apart from receiving it at the other end). Thanks in advance for any help John p.s should probably mention - I have specified an INCORRECT incoming mail server because I don't want all my emails to download into Outlook (I am simply using it to send on behalf of my alias) - perhaps this is the flaw? |
