Sound new mail notification

Hello

I am trying to set up a new sound alert to replace the default in Outlook 2007. I can hear the default OK when a new message arrives.

I have set up my new sound in Outlook as shown in the attached screenshot, PlaySound.jpg and in the Control Panel | Sound, I have installed my new .wav file, called mail2.wav, shown in the attached YouHaveMail_CP.jpg screenshot.

But the new sound does not play, even after closing down Outlook.

What is likely to be the problem, please?
