You cannot make a shortcut to a shortcut. Right click the desktop and make a NEW shortcut for each of the paths I posted. If the address is not appropriate to your PC, you will get an error message when you click Next.

Obviously Outlook (and the rest of the installed parts of Office) are present on your PC or you wouldn't be able to use them.

The paths quoted are correct for the default settings for Office 2007 on Windows 64 bit versions. (Windows 32 bit versions will not have the " (x64)" parts of the addresses.)

Name one shortcut 'Contacts', the other 'Calendar' as appropriate.
