I have an unusual issue with Outlook 2013 IMAP setup. Actually 2 issues.
1. When I try to send a message from my Drafts folder after I complete it, if too much time has elapsed or if I edit the Drafts message before sending, I get the error below, which I can’t fix. "The operation can't be performed because the message has been changed" I have to create a new blank message, copy the body of the Draft message into the body of the new email, then re-address and re-attach if needed, the new message, and send it before Outlook saves a draft copy of the new one. 2. The second issue is when I try to move a message from either my Inbox or Sent folder, it sometimes pops up the same error as above. But in this case, if I click off of the message in the folder list display onto another message in the list, then back to the message to be moved, the operation will succeed. This happens whether I am using a rule to make the move, using the Move ribbon item, or even drag-and-drop. This never happened when I used POP email, but began happening almost immediately when my ISP and email provider changed all email to IMAP. I don’t have the option to revert to POP. Any advice or thoughts will be appreciated. Alan (RetiredCHE) |
