Hi drgerry,

This type of problem occurs in Outlook when you use some kind of Rules. May be you've created any Rule so that the emails goes to the Trash folder instead of Deleted Items folder. If this is the case, then check all the Rules (for att.net account) that you are using and kindly disable the exact one.
