![]() I am a user of Outlook 2003 which I have successfully used since 2003. In the last 24 hours for no apparent reason I get an error message when trying to open Outlook which reads " Cannot start MS Outlook. The set of folders could not be opened. The server is not available" Does anyone have any clues with this? |

Loss of network connection possibly!
Server may be down ( or at least the server where you account is located) are you in an office environment where other users are experiencing this issue? are you a home user with an account set up to your internet provider? |

I am a home user but in a 4 hour investigation with my ISP today they concluded that the Outlook programme on my PC was damaged, they never entertained that the problem might be at their end?
