I'm not entirely sure what you mean, do you wish to change the default address book to show contacts rather than (for example) the Global Address List? If so, there is a comprehensive guide in the link below.

Error message when starting Outlook 2007

When Outlook loads down the bottom left corner it says

Mail
Calendar
Contacts
Tasks

My Outlook opens in the Mail section but I would like it to open in the Contacts by default rather than Mail.

I do not know if that is possible.
