Transferred my outlook 2003 to a new computer. everything works EXCEPT no email list. Contacts are OK - I thought email list came from contacts???

The address book is another view into contacts. Is the address book what you are referring to?

If you mean the dropdown list associated with 'To:' then that is stored in Outlook.NK2

found the .nk2 file as you said.

I had been doing Exports (.pst) of the entire "Personal Folders" and "Contacts".

On new PC I installed Outlook, tried to import - got errors. So copied the outlook.pst file from old PC and relocated for Outlook. Got everything EXCEPT the email address list (TO: email list).

Shpuld I try bringing over the .NK2 file from old PC?

I'll try that. (1) rename orig .NK2,
(2) copy .NK2 from old PC

OK, copying the old .NK2 file did not work..
