Question Account Issue (It's there but not as it's name)

Oh boy I botched it this time! created an account for my ISP's email servers used the correct UN, PW, POP, SMPT, SSL encryption, Ports and authentication protocol; The Account is not in the navigation pain but what is there is an Out Look Data File that contains all the appropriate account folders and it does work. The problem is it's not listed in the Accounts tab nor is the ISP account I created; you can not re name or make changes even if you take ownership of the file or change permissions. Try to delete the file and all of out look wants to uninstall. So 1) what did I do ?:| 2) how do I fix it ?:| Any and all Help & Ideas greatly appreciated.
Phil
