go to: start, run, 'msconfig' If you click on the startup tab it will list all the programs that windows starts on start-up. Look for something like sync manage or anything similar. uncheck the box and then re-start. Hopefully it will be gone. You can google almost any of the programs starting up and it will tell you what it is. I check msconfig at least once a week to ensure nothing is there. A lot of programs put their auto-updater in there. I'd rather do it manually than have something running in the background taking up resources trying to update. Good luck. |

I've just solved that problem by setting up a new account in Outlook and making it the default account. Go to Tools>Accounts and select 'New' on the e-mail tab. Set up a new account exactly the same as the original. Do not copy and paste information - type it all in fresh. When done, select the new account and click 'set as default'. If this helps after a while you may delete the original account.
