I have a copy of MS Office 2007 on my PC.
I now have a Surface Pro 3. What I would like to achieve is that when using MS Office 2007 on my Surface , it effects the copy on my PC. In the past , on my old laptop I took the pretty draconian approach of copying the outlook.pst file from my PC to the laptop, then when I got back , copying the outlook.pst back to the PC. That way everything was 100% correct on the PC again, emails sent, emails recieved, folders etc. I suspect I can do something similar with the Surface Pro, but I'm really after something more flexible, something that would let me use both the PC and the Surface pro intermittently throughout the day but all the data still work effectively and be updated. So if I answer an e-mail on the Surface pro, it's updated fine on the PC etc. I don't mind if I have to use an "online" version of Outlook, if that exists? |
