Just switched to 365 and have a question. I am using Outlook 2010 and have been for years but now I have a new profile. Both the old and the new are showing in Outlook. When I send messages I have several different email names that I use but they are going into the old sent box at Outlook. I tried to set up a rule and thought it worked by having the mail moved to the new profile but it does not seem to be working.
I set it up to apply the rule after the message arrives in the sent box and move to to the new sent folder. Can anyone give me any suggestions as to how to set up this rule? OR is there another and better way to do this? Thanks |

Hi,
Rather than setting up a rule that works on an email that arrives in the Sent Items folder, can you create one that works "after I send a message"? You can do this by starting from a blank rule (Rules and Alerts...Manage Rules & Alerts...New Rule...(then down towards the bottom in the Start from a blank rule area)...Apply rule on message I send. |

I do have it set up for "after I send the message" but it does not seem to be working. When I check my rules, it says "client only" and I do not know what that means...
