![]() I just was converted from Lotus Notes to Outlook last week and I was surprised to find that there was no (at least that I know of) way to import the contents of an ASCII text file directly into the body of an Outlook email. In Lotus Notes, I would just click on 'File', 'Import' and select the filename, and it would automatically import its contents into the email. Is there a way to do this in Outlook ? Thanks... |

Hi,
When you compose an email, click on the Attachment icon to choose the file. Select the file by clicking once, but then don't click the Insert button but rather grab the little pull-down arrow just to the right of the word "Insert" and make it say "Insert As Text".
