Default Calendar names appended with "[1]"

I'm not sure when it happened, but somehow two of my named calendars showed up with "[1]" appended to the end of the name.

I do not know how it happened. It wasn't like that in the beginning.

It **might** be related to a Sony Vaio "convertible" notebook I bought and onto which I installed Office. I had a problem with the notebook and returned it. [I'm just guessing that this might have been the cause.]

Does anyone know of way to change these names back to the original names without messing up any syncing?

[Note: They are Hotmail.com calendars, if that makes a difference.]

Thanks.

Matt
