I use Outlook 2010 with Win 7. I have just gone to BT and set up an e-mail address with them xxxxx.xxxxx@btinternet .com. I have a domain name set up and want this address to be shown as the return address in my e-mails. When I set this address up in the first screen of the account options (instead of the .btinternet.com address) I get a send receive error and nothing is sent. If I put my domain e-mail address in the more options dialog "return address" the sent e-mails still have the .btinternet address as the sender. (Both send and receive servers ase set to mail.btinternet.com) How can I get Outlook to use my preferred address?
