I downloaded the viewer for file type psd,
Adobe PhotoShop file. I can save the psd file attachment and open it, but I cannot get Outlook 2010 to recognize that the viewer exists and should be employed when I attempt to "preview" the attachment directly from within Outlook. I just get the error message that there is no viewer available for that file type. How do I get Outlook to recognize the viewer? Thanks, Bill |

Hi,
You should able to open PSD file without any problem if youcan install Adobe PhotoShop, which understands ".psd" files, Attemptingto open a ".psd" file would then start up PhotoShop, which in turnwould read and display the file. To know more : http://ask-leo.com/this_file_does_no...t_do_i_do.html |

I basically should have the same thing with the psd file viewer. I.e., "right-click" the psd file in the Outlook preview pane and Outlook should launch the viewer and pass it the file. However, that does not happen. Outlook does not recognize from the Windows file type associations that it is the "psd file viewer" from Adobe that should be employed to view the file.
