Masta7Mail is on a distinguished road
Lightbulb Quota limits in Outlook

xeltek,

The reason you got that error message that refers to Outlook 2003 is because that is when they added that feature...confusing I know.

Microsoft recommends not having a PST file over 2GB, but usually it's your email provider that sets your actual limit.

Check with whoever you use email with to see if that is a rule of theirs.

So, if you've already exported a PST file and you are able to open the PST file and see all of your old email there, then you should just delete the ones that are in your Inbox.

If you did not properly export a PST file, here are instructions:

1. Open Outlook

2.Click File

3.Click Import/Export

4. Export to a file > Personal Folder File > highlight the top folder and check the include subfolders box >

5. Browse to the location that you would like to save the PST file (i.e. your desktop or MyDocuments)

6. Click Finish

Hope this points you in the right direction!
