That's what you get for installing beta software on a production system. Microsoft warns people not to do this. Have you tried repairing the Office installation (via Programs & Features > Microsoft Office > Change in the Windows Control Panel)?
PS: Please don't post duplicate questions in multiple forums on this Board. Your other thread has been deleted.

Yes I have tried to repair it twice with no avail. The only thing left to do now is to uninstall Office 2010 Professional and install it again, the problem is that I left the program at a vacation home far from my home now and won't be able to be there until October.
Do you have any solution to this issue without uninstalling Office 2010? Thanks, Frank |

Without knowing exactly what was damaged by the process, there's nothing further I can advise on reinstallation alternatives.
If you can find someone with the same Office 2010 edition as you're using (and they're willing to lend you their installation media), you could use a product like Magic Jellybean KeyFinder (http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/) to retrieve your Office product key, then go through the uninstall/reinstall process, using the retrieved product key. If you have trouble uninstalling Office, see: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

I have the product code on a Word file in my system, that is not the problem, the problem is that I don't have the program with me. I don't know if I can download the program Office 2010 Profesional and use the code, do you know if that is possible? Frank

Hi Frank,
AFAIK, the download versions of Office can only be accessed with a download product key.

I have a product key and I already downloaded a trial version for 60 days so I'm using it to unistall first and install it later. I'm backing up my outlook files I guess I have a choice of unistall Oulook only, I guess I'll make a decision when the time comes. Hope it will work, thanks, Frank

Hi Frank,
You could try restoring your system to the restore point created when (or the last one before) before you installed the 365 beta.

The problem with Restore is that I did upgrade Windows from Home Premium to Ultimate at the time I had Office 365, I don't remember if I uninstalled 365 prior or after I upgraded Windows, so in other words I cannot go back to before Office 365. I still believe the problem is in the Register but I don't know where. Frank

In that case you might need to uninstall, then use a product like CCleaner or Revo Uninstaller to erase the left-over registry entries, then reinstall. You may also need to manuall delete any of the Office initialization files & folders that an uninstall leaves behind before reinstalling (backup your data first!!) - see 'Method 4: Remove Microsoft Office 2010 suites manually' at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 for details.

After following instructions I did unistall Office 2010, used the cleanning programs, went to the Register and remove all instances of Microsoft Office going back to Office 12, 13, 14 amd 15. I did remove all Microsoft Office folders and files and still I have the same problem.
I guess the solution I have is to wait for Office 365 final version and also WIndows 8 as I don't seem to have any other alternatives at present. If somebody has any ideas please let me know. I can see the files in Outlook using Preview as that program is working fine. Frank |

Guys wanted to let you know that I resolved this issue, the problem was in the PowerPoint setup, somehow I had a checkmark on Protected View within Trust Center. The checkmark was checked at Enable Protected View for Outlook Attachments.
I appreciated you guys response but finally I was able to resolved it. Honesly I don't know how that command had the checkmark. Thanks to all, Frank |

Frank, Thanks, you saved me a lot of time. I also had a user that had the preview protect boxed checked in the trusted center.
