Hi
My wife is using MS Outlook 2000. She tells me that all her personal folders and the emails therein appear to have vanished overnight, and that all the archive folders remain in place. Could anyone please suggest what is likely to have happened and what she might do to try to find/retrieve/restore the lost files and mails. Many thanks Tom |

Tom, a stab in the dark.... have her try to open the Outlook data file.
I have office xp at home and 2010 at work, so I do not know exactly how yor would do that in 2000, but.... - try file/open the open Outlook Data File. The Outlook mail file (.pst) is located in a default folder somewhere on the hard drive, the location depends on the version. If not in the folder opened by default when doing the file/open, then do a file search for all files ".PST". good luck |
