Hello all,
First time posting here -- this one has me really confused. I've used outlook for a while to manage my e-mails (all POP3 accounts up to this time). Last week, I added an e-mail address used for a new job to my outlook -- they use Microsoft Exchange. The whole experience was new, and at first I was not used to multiple calendars, inboxes, etc. I still can't get my other folders to appear first (or even alphabetically -- the exchange account appears first), but that is not so important. What I noticed today is that ALL e-mails that I write -- even when I specifically select the sending account -- pop into my Exchange outbox, and upon sending, into my exchange "Sent Items" folder. If I manually move them to my other outboxes before sending, they will not send upon F9. They ARE sending from the correct address when they get to my recipients, but they're all going through exchange. Now when I log into my web-based exhange, I see all of my personal e-mails in the sent items folder! How do I prevent sending from the exchange outbox? Like the entire adoption of exchange, it has me confused about what is private, and what is now shared. In the case of my sent e-mail at least, everything is appearing on Exchange. Thank you for any help you can offer, |
