I'm reading the e-mails in my in-box and down at the bottom right of the screen is the progress bar showing that a message is being sent. The yellow triangle is there. When I clicked on this it said message size exceeds the maximum permitted - but I'm not trying to send anything at all. There's nothing showing in the outbox, and e-mails are coming in OK. What's going on, and how do I sort it? Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Hi Veryperplexed,
please check once again : Are you getting error message "552 Message size exceeds maximum permitted" ? |

Thanks for your pointer Marshal. I finally managed to find the message that was stuck in the sending system and delete it. It was obviously too big, as I realised when I figured out how to access the report on progress. So the problem is now resolved.
