Hello all,



We have user who is having problems opening Excel Attachments in Outlook 2010 32 bit. She says it hangs for a long time until it will open or it will hang indefinitely when she double clicks the attachment. Now, she can save it to her local network drive and open it that way but it sometimes hang there for awhile as well. No error message pops up and I physically have not seen this error,but I was jut the one assigned to try to fix it.

The setup for the users in my company is they are running off of Terminal Services on Windows Server 2008 32 bit through VM Ware with the mail going through Microsoft Exchange 2010 server and it is the Microsoft Office Suite 2010.

I have looked through various forums, and I know some of the issues revolve around anti-virus software. Currently we do not have any running on those Windows servers, so I have narrowed down that effect. It seems like various issues could possibly be effecting from other problems I have read, but I wanted to see if anyone had this problem or similar and what they did to resolve it.

Does this happen with all the excel files. I mean with excel files which are less in size and also with ones which are larger in size may be in megabytes. Also does this happen with any other ms office files like docs, ppts, msg, etc
