I was trying to setup email account in Outlook 2007 to access my Outlook WebAccess account. I have less knowledge on computers and I was doing it for the first time.

Please find below what I did during setup:



1. I entered my name, full email id, password, retyped password -> pressed Next

2. Outlook established network connection -> OK

3. Outlook searched for my account settings -> OK

4. Now it hangs & Log on to server -> Failed. It says, "This action cannot be completed. The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action."
I rechecked that I was connected to Internet.

5. I clicked OK -> my Microsoft Exchange account details i.e. server name and Mailbox name appeared. I checked the data was correct.

6. I clicked check name but the same error comes again.

I did it several time but could not setup. I tried also with antivirus and windows firewall switched off. But nothing worked.

Please someone help me out.
