On a fairly regular basis, I switch my primary computing from one PC to another.
When I do this, I usually have to spend a fair amount of time fixing things. I recently had a major problem, which I have overcome, but have several other annoying little problems that I can't seem to fix. I'll start with one, but would like to connect with someone who knows this space well, to help me with other problems. OK, I use FOLLOW UP FLAGS a lot. But, when I moved, the IMAP files still showed that a flag was there, but the flags themselves had lost their information. [eg. a RED flag showed as a reminder, but the reminder had lost its date] I think a workaround would be to not leave these emails on the mail server, but move them to my outlook.pst file, but these are the most active emails I have and would like to be able to get to them from a browser, or some other mail client. So, if it's not possible - I'll figure out a workaround; but if the flag info is kept in some local file I'm missing, or in a registry entry, that would be great! Michael |
