hi all, first time here and first post.
I am trying to understand what Outlook can do for me and I have a few qestions my co-workers are not able to answer...So, here we go. 1) is there a way to modify the default template "contact form" so that if i choose to import contact data, it will be displayed on the modified form? 2) is there a way to seperate under MyContacts which form is to be used? For example, i may want to see the default form when viewing my "Work contacts" and my custom form when i view my "Personal Contacts". 3) Would the "Business Contact Manager for Outlook" be something that would allow me to do what i described above?? thanks for any insight you can provide! -Will |

Hi Will. Welcome to the forum.
1. The short answer is "yes". You need to activate the Developer tabs in Outlook. If you search the help it will tell you how to do this. 2. Again "yes". On the right side of the <New> button there's a downward pointing triangle. Click on this and select <Choose Form>. The drop down list can be used to locate forms and templates you have created. 3. Business Contact Manager is a whole other ball game. It's certainly worth investigating but I'm unsure how flexible it is. I haven't tried to customise any of it except the reports. |
