Default Trouble Saving and Moving OneNote Notebook to Documents Folder

I purchased OneNote 2016 and I copied my OneNote 2007 Notebooks from my USB flash drive to my Documents folder on my Windows 10 computer . Where necessary, I was able to get the sections and pages compatible with OneNote 2016. I am not yet familiar with OneDrive so I have not set that up.

I created a new Notebook in my OneNote 2016. I wanted to place the new Notebook in my C:\Users\MyName\Documents\OneNote Notebooks where all of my other Notebooks (created in the OneNote 2007) are; however, underneath the name of the new Notebook, this path (which I abbreviated) shows up: https://onedrive.live.com/.......(which is not syncing).

My questions are as follows:

1)Must I use OneDrive to save my OneNote Notebooks? I have no intention of sharing them, at least not in the near future.

2)What can I do to move the new Notebook, from the https://onedrive.live.com/....... to my C:\Users\MyName\Documents\OneNote Notebooks or is this not possible?

Thank you.
