Default OneNote 2013 in Windows 10 loses color tabs and ribbon.goes to purple 'basic' view?

Sometimes OneNote starts and I see the color tabs and layout the way it is supposed to look. If I stop working in the program leave it open and come back to it later the screen sometimes looks like it reverted to a power saving format. My notebooks are there and it functions but basic tools.

Help would be appreciated. I have already run a repair on Microsoft Office 2013 Professional Plus.
