Hi!
Whenever I insert a multi-page document as a printout in OneNote 2013, each page is inserted as a separate object that can be moved around or deleted independent of the other pages. I want to move all the pages of the document around as one block. I'm aware of the option Advanced>"Insert long printouts on multiple pages" and have this unchecked. The properties of the inserted printouts seems to be identical whether this option is checked or not. What am I missing? Is there another option that overrides "Insert long printouts on multiple pages"? ![]() Any help is greatly appreciated! Magnus |

OneNote imports every page as a separate object, that's why you get all these single pages. That's not only the case with printout but also with powerpoint notes. It's by design.

Thanks for replying, themausman!
I have two follow-up questions: - What is then the purpose of the "Insert long printouts on multiple pages" option? - Is it a way to group pages after they are inserted? Several multipage printouts in the same note can get messy... |

I understand your concern. The multiple page option takes care of the situation where you will get a mega page if you insert a very long document. On the other hand if you have a very large document it will create a page for very document page. You should ask yourself if that is what you want. I had a presentation of 38 slides. It will create 38 pages (not what I wanted).
I have not discovered an option to add the pages together into one document. This is my wish as well. If it were separate OneNote containers you would have the option to merge those containers. Since prinouts are inserted as objects (images?) you can't combine them into one large container. Too bad in my opinion. |
