Hi Corrie
From what you say (and I could be wrong) it appears that you have a demo version of OneNote which DOES have system limitations. If it is a demo version you will have to purchase a full licence to enable full functionality. A number of manufacturers will put demo versions of software on their machine to encourage you to buy the full packages.
Hope this helps.
Tony

Hi Tony, i was afraid something likethis is the matter nevertheless I've bought the Dell computer including the Office 2010 version for home and students! I'll try to come in touch with Dell, which is normally a hell of a case. I thank you for your help. All the best Corrie

Hi Corrie
Have you activated the software online? If not this may be your issue.
Hope this helps.

Hi Tony
On the Help site of MSOffice2010 stays that Office Home and Student 2010 has been activated. But... also is written something about a test version of Office Professional which is stopped.!!! I have filled in again the MSOffice product-identification but the problem with the links is still there :-( I've written to Dell about these problems but i dont expect much from that side. I have an activatingcode, prod. id and version specification. Is an option to delete MSOffice and re-install?? But I have allready put documents in it, do i lost them then? Sorry to bother you Tony, but please help, Corrie

Hi Corrie
It may be a good idea to delete Office 2010 and re-install (only if you have the original software CD before you do it though).
Deleting Office 2010 will NOT delete any of your data files. The only thing you will lose is any changes you have made to the Normal.dot template.
Good luck.

Hi Tony, At last i got an Dell helpdesk assistent who has fixed the problem! The problem was that some keys, probably, were changed because of Google Chrome. After removing this prg and using Microsoft FIX IT prg. the problem was solved. I am ver happy. Thanks for your support,
Corrie
