Windows XP Auto Correct for languages with accents?

I think the solution may lie in changing the language for the word you are typing. For instance click on the language on the bottom bar and then select French (France) then type the word. You should in the autocorrect library now see the French replacements. Note garcon is not in there but there are many others.
