As a function of a third party application that I just installed,it required 2 MS applications to be installed that apparently were not. The Office SP2 was one.
I watched MSOffice2007SP2.exe (297,161kb) as it downloaded. However, after the entire installation was complete I checked for the service pack under (Windows7) Programs and Features, sorting the applications by most recent install date. I did not see SP2 but instead see 'MS Office 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies.' The next day I uninstalled and reinstalled the application and see the same results (the Interop Assemblies being the same date as the first install). I tried checking within Word to determine if SP2 is installed but do not find the familiar Help/About...? Mark |

Hi Mark,
To see if SP2 is installed, go to Word Options|Resources and look below the 'about' line.

Thanks, it appears to be. What does the 'MSO' stand for that's right after SP2?<---No need to answer this (couldn't find a 'delete message' option) MS Office 'dawned' on me as I posted ;-)
