My desktop and laptop are over five years old and like me are showing their age and slowing up so I'm thinking of replacing them.
My software is also over five years old and I'm not sure if it will work well on new equipment so is it worth replacing that and what do I gain? |

Hi Balliol,
Most older software will run on the newer PCs. So, unless it doesn't run or you want to upgrade anyway, you may as well keep using it. Do note though, that any OEM software that came with your PC or laptop (for which you probably didn't receive the original installation disks) can only be used on the unit with which they were purchased.
