Hey everyone
So I use Office 2007 (Windows 7 - 32 bit) connected to GMAIL (no MS-Exchange). If I create a Word document while Outlook is closed; then from within Word select SEND (with any of the available choices -) the Outlook dialogue opens, enter cover message, enter addressees - then it all freezes (MS-Outlook not responding) - and never recovers. Opening Outlook creates more Outlook entries in memory - but it never opens a window.. When after some hours or overnight I kill the Outlook window, it offers to Wait, Close or try to restart. Sometimes, the restart is successful and the email is in the Outbox...then gets sent, usually it just disappears. I have 2 Dell PCs, one a laptop, one a desktop and the same happens on each. Both are effectively the same environments! .....HELP - what am I doing wrong? Everything is up to date, diagnostics tells me almost nothing. Thanks in advance for any suggestions - . |
