I've had the Windows 11 Home/MS Office 2019 Pro combination on my HP laptop since new (about 1-1/2 years) and had no problems until yesterday. Now, none of the Office apps will launch (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access).
An internet search had me try the Repair process (Control Panel / Programs / MS Office / Change / Repair). It seemed to work last night (I could launch and use Excel), but today the problem returned.
The next thing to try was to uninstall MS Office, then reinstall it from my website account. That action completed, and I had all the appropriate icons in my Apps list (Excel, WinWord, PowerPoint, Access), but none of the programs will launch when selected (double-click, of course). In one final desperate try, I tried the Repair process again (because it seemed to work last night). This time the Repair did not work, and all of my MS Office apps are 'dead' even though they seem to be selectable in the Apps list.
Does anyone know what I can do to get the Office apps to work again?
