![]() I bought Office 2019 when it weas first released but It would not work with Windows 2007, so I carried on with my old Office 2007. I have a new laptop with Windows 10 and when I clicked on a word document, Microsoft wanted to know my account details. What I had done was subscribe to Office 365. I did not want to pay for this so I downloaded my fully paid for Office 2019. I tried to uninstall Office 365 but their was nothing to un-install. This is a cloud based system. Every time I open a word document it opens with 365. I unsubscribed to 365 and then tried downloading again. Still the same 365. I was told not to worry because 2019 is 365. I know that is wrong as other people see the 2019 splash screen. I am now told that I have to pay by the 21st or loose office 365. This is clearly 365 and I am being denied access to 2019. |

Hi otuatil,
I remember reading somewhere that Office 365 will keep working for 30 days after your subscription runs out, which is why you are still able to use it. |
