Modified file and clicked save instead of save as. Is it possible to get back to the old file version ? If I right click on new file and look for previous versions nothing available.
Did not find previous file version looking in old restore points either. |

You won't find previous versions of files in a Windows Restore Point.
If 'previous versions' returns nothing, you'll need to restore a copy from a backup.

You might check for copies on a USB stick, in an email attachment, etc.
PS: I moved the rest of your post - which is an entirely separate topic - to the Excel forum.
