On a Win 10 installation, the Office executables for a 32-bit Office installation should be in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office# where # is the version number. I guess the Office executables for a 64-bit Office installation would be in: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office#

Paul,
Thank you for your response. I searched in both Program Files and Program Files (x86). I am somewhat confused re Office#. I see both Office 15 and 16. If I am running Office 2016 would the executables be in Office16? In either case my C drive search was at a higher level than the subfolder that should contain the executables. I did a manual search in the root subfolder but do not see anything in the files labeled "application". It almost seems to me that the installation did not complete properly but I don't know why this would have happened. Also I am not completely convinced that the executables are not "somewhere" on my PC. |
