Is there a reason to upgrade?
This is just a curiosity question..... Is there a reason to upgrade from Office 2010 to Office 2016?
I have a copy of Office 2010 on both my desktop and laptop PC. Since I retired I'm pretty much a casual user with my main focus being Outlook, Word, Excel and periodically Access. In the big scheme of things I'm totally satisfied with what Office 2010 does, it's features, and how it works so the reality is that as long as Microsoft keeps patching 2010 I'm content to stay with this version because it meets all my needs. That being said, my only real reason for upgrading would be Microsoft dropping support for Office 2010 and even that is somewhat of a questionable issue as long as the product continues to function on Windows 10. Is there some reason why I should upgrade to 2016 just for the sake of ongoing support or should I just keep what I got and deal with some issue down the road, if and/or when that ever happens?
