This should be simple. Just place your cursor inside your Word Table. Then select your entire table (in Word 2007, Alt A / C / T). Then Ctrl + C (to copy). Then go to the cell you want as your top left corner of your table in Excel and Ctrl + V (to paste). Mine came over beautifully.
