Have you considered using, for example, File>Recent>Recover Unsaved Documents/Workbooks/Presentations?

The problem I have is that "Recover Unsaved Documents" doesn't always reappear when I go back to File>Recent...

I was hoping maybe there was a button somewhere I was missing...
