I have just bought the Home and Business version of Office 2013. I did not uninstall Office 2007. When I try to open any of my 2007 files: PST, DOCX and >XLSX it says 'Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook has stopped working' Regards, Peter

Have to delete most of the Addins, which I assume have passed along from Office 2007.

Have you tried repairing the Office 2007 installation (via Start > Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office 2007 > Change)?

Also note that Office only allows one version of Outlook to be installed, so you won't be able to use Outlook 2007 if you've installed Outlook 2013.
