Default Which Office program to use to find a day/date

I need to be able to easily find a range of dates in the future from any given date. For example I need to schedule a test of some equipment not less than 20 days or not more than 40 days from the previous test. I have not been able to do this on my own via searches through my Office software, Can someone here direct me to the solution?
