Hi All,
I'm new to the forum and need some help. I recently purchased a new laptop with the OS Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit. I have used MS Office (2003, 2007) and earlier versions for many years. I would like to purchase the latest version (SP2?) of MS Office 2010 Home and Business, as I've read complaints about 2013 Office. I've searched the internet and found many (Software Store, softsplanet, topsoftdeals, etc,) sources for the 2010 Office download. All are OEM software...no disc...one download only. What's the deal with "OEM" software? The various vendors claim their OEM software is the same as the original corresponding MS version. Also, I read on the forum that OEM software programs cannot be uninstalled from your PC. Is the OEM download of 2010 MS Office the way to go? Can the downloaded software be upgraded by online download if it is not the latest version? Can anyone recommend a reputable vendor for this download? Pros and Cons? Advice appreciated... |
