Default AVG PC tuneup office does not work

Microsoft Office word stopped working after I did a extensive clean up with AVG PC Tuneup...I get this message The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Use source C:\MSOCache\All Users\{90140000-003D-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}-C\ I have tried browseing and nothing works.

The tech from AVG spent a lot of time trying to restore my access to Office with out success. He said my program was there but my short cut are corrupted.

Have you tried repairing the Office installation (via Programs & Features > Microsoft Office > Change in the Windows Control Panel)?

No, I didn't try that. I didn't see that option. I went to programs and features microsoft office. I guess I was afraid I would uninstall the program. I have trid it now and I get the message Setup cannot find Office.en-us\DW20.EXE. Browse to a valid installation source, and then click OK. I have been here before and I couldn't find anything. I did try to use the repair feature on the installation disk and I get the same message.

That suggests your Office installation has been seriously corrupted, in which case, you'll need to uninstall & reinstall it from scratch.

As with repairing, uninstalling is done via Programs & Features > Microsoft Office in the Windows Control Panel. If uninstallation fails, see: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971179/en-au

I was afraid of that. Is there anyplace to find the key...Won't I need the key to reactive the program? I notice I have the receipt from the microsoft store for the back up disk but I didn't write down the key code on it. This was originally installed from a download.

You can retrieve the key using the Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder :http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/
