Sounds like a pirated copy to me...

A Genuine Office Pro 2010, 32 bit/x64, DVD could be expected to come in a Genuine Microsoft DVD case, with the Product Key on the case. At the very least, a Genuine Microsoft Office 2010 DVD would have the Microsoft hologram, etc. and wouldn't need a 'supplemental CD'.

macropod...yes, in the correct box - cover over plastic snap case, all shrink wrapped, with Quick Start insert. Label with hologram and activation code on box, and label with product key on inside of the insert that faces outwards as the cover art for the package.

I would not expect the need for any homebrew supplemental software to activate.

Naturally, my concern is that it is not a legitimate original package...pirated or otherwise not "new".

Guess that unless yuou have other thoughts it will come down to trying it..right?
