The 'bunch of numbers' would be a Product Key. You need to ensure that you haven't confused 1s and 0s with Ls and Os, for example. If you keep having problems phone whoever it was you spoke to before and re-confirm the Product Key's characters.
It was an automated phone. It indicated the numbers were correct but not valid?? I looked for a place to talk to a "LIVE" person. That why I'm here trying find out why upgrading killed the program.
